Honda Cars India has reported a 29.44 per cent decline in domestic sales to 10,010 units in October 2019. In comparison, the car maker sold 14,187 units in October 2019. The monthly domestic sales of Honda Cars India had plunged 37.24 per cent to 9,301 units in September 2019, 51.3 per cent to 8,291 units in August 2019, 48.67 per cent to 10,250 units in July 2019 and 41.40 per cent to 10,314 units in June 2019.
The prolonged slowdown in the auto industry has hampered even Hyundai Motor India's festive season sales. Beating the slowdown in the auto industry, luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz India delivered more than 600 cars last week during Dhanteras.
