According to Chennai sources actor Kamal Haasan has fired more tweets against Tamilnadu's ruling AIADMK this morning, after confirming earlier this week that that he is considering launching his own political party. The actor tweeted that "No work no pay only for Govt. Employees? How about horse trading politicians languishing in resorts? The honorable court warns teachers on strike. He beseeches the court to issue similar warnings to those legislators who desist from attending work”.
Moreover the actor was commenting on the state government's decision not to pay salaries to about 33,000 teachers who are on strike along with government employees to demand hikes. The Madras High Court had warned the teachers against boycotting classes to join the protests. Recently Palaniswami government told the court that the teachers' absence from classes will be considered unauthorized and they will not be paid.
Moreover Kamal Haasan has for the last few months weighed in regularly on issues with politically loaded tweets targeting the AIADMK government, fuelling speculation that he is prepping for a political career. Unlike the other southern superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan has seemed increasingly clear that his political debut will happen soon.
