Actress Keerthy Suresh, the daughter of senior yesteryear actress Menaka, ventured into acting in Malayalam films, starring opposite the likes of Mohanlal and Dileep, before venturing into Tamil, with films like Rajini Murugan, Remo, which earned her a hit heroine tag. She had then ventured into Telugu as well.
While her debut Telugu flick Nenu Sailaja and her subsequent flick Nenu local clicked at the box office, her latest release Agnyaathavaasi had failed big time. However, the mallu beauty is back into the Telugu forum, with her upcoming highly anticipated release, Mahanati, the biopic of legendary actress Savithri.
Amidst lots of trolls and abuses, Keerthy was cast in the movie, and now that the movie is all set for its release in both Telugu and Tamil, Yevade Subramanyam fame Nag Ashwin, who has directed the movie, revealed an interesting and shocking fact on Mahanati.
He said that it was after seeing Keerthy in her utter flop venture Thodari opposite Dhanush that he decided to cast her in Mahanati. The actress will be next seen in 'Sarkar'.
